Lately, I have been paying more attention to the products I actually reach for after trying them, rather than the ones that only look good in my beauty drawer. A product can have a nice package and plenty of hype, but I want to know if I would still use it once the excitement wears off.

Putting Tower 28 to the Test
With three very different products in front of me, I wanted to see how each one would fit into a normal beauty routine. I focused on the texture, finish, and how easy each product was to use rather than expecting every product to work the same way.
1. SOS Rescue Spray
The SOS Rescue Spray was the first product that made me understand why Tower 28 has built such a strong following around its sensitive-skin range. It is a facial spray made with hypochlorous acid, a naturally occurring compound that Tower 28 uses for its soothing and purifying properties. The formula is also fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and designed for sensitive skin.
The texture is exactly what I want from a spray like this: light, watery, and quick to disappear into the skin. I could use it after cleansing without feeling like I had added another heavy layer. It also makes sense for those moments when my skin feels hot, tight, or a little more irritated than usual.
I like that it can fit into different parts of the day. Tower 28 suggests using it on freshly cleansed skin in the morning and evening, but it can also be sprayed over makeup or used after a workout.

What I noticed right away was how easily the cream moved across the skin. I prefer blushes that do not make me work too hard with a brush or sponge, and this one can be tapped on with your fingers and blended out. The color is definitely noticeable, but it can be built up depending on how much you use.
Dream Hour is described as a sun-kissed bright pink, so it gives the face more life. I would start with a small amount and build from there, especially if I wanted a softer daytime look. Tower 28 also says the formula is non-comedogenic, fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and suitable for sensitive skin.

The texture is soft and cushiony, but it does not sit heavily on the skin. I like that because a moisturizer can easily become annoying when it leaves behind too much slip, especially before makeup. This one absorbs quickly and leaves the skin feeling moisturized without a greasy layer.
It is also the kind of product I would keep around for days when my skin needs a simpler routine. Tower 28 says the formula is fragrance-free, essential-oil-free, alcohol-free, and non-comedogenic. The brand's third-party clinical testing with 32 people found improvements in redness, hydration, and skin texture, though individual results can vary.

What I liked most is that each product has a clear purpose and does not make my routine feel like extra work. They are simple to use, easy to add to the day, and different enough to give me a reason to reach for each one again.
