Summer makeup gets annoying fast when it has too many layers. Foundation starts feeling heavy, powder gets weird and by the time sunscreen, bronzer, mascara, touch up products are in the bag, it’s like I packed an entire vanity for one day out.
That’s why this Pixi trio made sense to me. The On-the-Glow Shield SPF 50, On-the-Glow Bronze, and Lash Booster Mascara hit all three things I usually care about in warm weather. Some sun protection, a little color, and lashes that make me look more awake.
It's not a full-on glam routine. More like the fast face I do before a beach day, airport morning, coffee run or "I have ten minutes" situation.

The On-the-Glow Shield SPF 50 was the most practical of the three for me as sunscreen is the step I know I need but is annoying once I am already out of the house.
It came in a stick, so it felt easier to carry around than a normal sunscreen tube. I mainly used it on areas needing quick touch-ups, such as my cheekbones, nose, lips and around my eye area. That was easier than applying liquid sunscreen over makeup or having sticky fingers while you are out and about.
The no-white-cast thing was a big deal too. Summer SPF can be irritating with that pale layer or greasy look. This one seemed light enough for quick mornings and easy to keep in my travel bag for touch-ups throughout the day.
I still didn’t treat it like a swipe-on-and-forget product, because SPF needs to be reapplied. But as a carry-with-you sunscreen stick, it felt actually useful.

The Lash Booster Mascara was my favorite thing to put on, mostly because I always feel a little unfinished with no lashes. In summer, I don't always need eyeliner but I do need mascara or my eyes disappear a little.
The brush is cone shaped, and I liked that it wasn’t difficult to control. I could get right up to the roots without getting mascara all over my face, which is important when I'm in a hurry. It made my lashes darker and more spaced out, not clumpy.
It’s waterproof, so I wore it for the longer days, when normal mascara tends to go wonky. After a few hours, I didn’t see any flakes under my eyes. It gave more of a clean, defined lash look, which was a better fit to the glowy skin and bronze stick than a heavy mascara would have been.

The On-the-Glow Bronze is the one I grabbed when my face was looking a little flat. I put it on my cheeks first, then whatever was left on my fingers went on my lips. It was lazy, but it worked.
It gave a nice warm tint pretty quickly. Not a whole bronzed face, more like I had been out a little bit. I liked that you didn’t need a brush for it because, honestly that’s the whole point of these stick products for me.
The texture feels creamy, and a little thicker than I expected. It blended fine with my fingers, but I did look at it again later when I was out. In hot weather, it can soften on the skin a bit. Nothing messy, just enough that I tapped it back in.
On my lips, it looked more like a soft tint than lipstick. I still liked it more on my cheeks, but having one stick for both made mornings easier. This was the product that made my face look warmer the fastest.

My quickest routine started with the On-the-Glow Shield SPF 50 on areas that needed protection and touch up attention. Next, I swept On-the-Glow Bronze over cheeks and lips, blended it in with my fingers and finished with Lash Booster Mascara.
I kept the SPF stick and bronzer nearby for days at the beach. The stick formats made traveling easier as they didn’t feel messy in my bag. The trio gave me skin, warmth, and lashes for quick mornings, without a full makeup routine.
It also worked for days when I didn’t want to wear heavy makeup, but I still wanted to look fresher. Not overly done.
The Pixi On-the-Glow Shield SPF 50, On-the-Glow Bronze, and Lash Booster Mascara work together because they hit the most important parts of a summer routine. Protect the skin, add a touch of glow and define the lashes.
